Optical Tweezer

Optical tweezers are recently being used by researchers in various fields from biology to materials science. Optical tweezers are able to control and manipulate micro- and nanoparticles with no physical contact, but solely by optical power. This enables research on these materials to be performed with minimum harm in sterile conditions. The video is an example application in our laboratories on a cell.
